Bubbles, bubbles everywhere ๐Ÿงผ๐Ÿ˜€ย

Bumblebees had a very exciting week last week. On Wednesday, the bubble man came to visit. We all had an amazing time, making and playing with bubbles.

We enjoyed mixing icing and decorating cakes. We enjoyed eating them even more ๐Ÿง.

We also took part in many other activities such as learning how to roll the play dough, practising mark making with the chalks, looking at books and doing jigsaws.

Jeans for Genes 2022 ๐Ÿ‘–

Jeans for Genes Day is a fundraising day for Life-altering Genetic Conditions that affect around half a million children in the UK. On Jeans for Genes day, children and staff wore jeans or casual clothes instead of their usual school clothing and made a ยฃ1 voluntary contribution towards fundraising.

Bumblebees embraced the day and โ€™celebrated with their friendsโ€™ by wearing jeans and participating in decorating a pair of jeans with lots of sticky glue and colourful materials.

It was lots of fun ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ

Welcome back Bumblebees 2022/23 ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿย

We hope you have had a wonderful summer break, the weather has been kind, but signs of Autumn are on the way bringing wonderful colours and celebrations. Our topic this term is โ€˜Celebrating with our Friendsโ€™ and we hope to share some of our fun with you over the coming weeks.

Weโ€™ve taken a slow buzz back into the hive this week, there are changes to get used to, new routines and new faces. A warm welcome to Claire our new teacher and Sade our new TA in the hive, Kymberlie, Vicky and Jo are looking forward to Beekeeping with you.

It has been super to see your children settling in this week, picking up on their favourite activities and investigating new onesโ€ฆ

Some have been โ€™beeingโ€™ creative with paintโ€ฆ

Sadly we ended the week on a sombre note following news of the death of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. We send our heartfelt condolences to her family and those who knew and loved her. A time for peace and reflection during this period of National Mourning.
