New Beginnings

A warm welcome to the Foxes class blog! Here you will find weekly updates of all the wonderful things we have been getting up to in school. This year, the Foxes class team is made up of Nicola, our class teacher and Catherine, Finely, Jade and Sophie, our teaching assistants.

This half-term, we will be exploring learning around our new topic, ‘No Place Like Home’. Here you can find our curriculum coverage, outlining the key learning for the Autumn term.

Our first three days of the school year have been so busy. We have been getting to know our class peers, becoming familiar with our new environments and completing work around the topic of ‘All About Me’. We have been thinking how we are all different.

During our cooking session, the children have revisited how to peel and chop a range of fruits. We used these skills to carefully chop the fruit into different shapes to replicate the different parts of our face. Have a look at some of our funny faces!

Our champion in Fox class, this week, is Oakley! Oakley started our school on Wednesday and has settled into school life beautifully. We all know how tricky it can be when doing something new but Oakley has coped so well. He has been working really hard to follow our class routine and develop relationships with his new peers and adults! Well done Oakley! We are all so proud of you.
