This term, we have been building up our confidence in the water. We have used floats and toys when going swimming and practised moving around the pool safely.
Our topic this term is ‘Down in the Jungle’. We have named different animals and accessed art activities, such as painting and colouring. We decorated binoculars with stickers and used them to look for animals in the jungle!
During Stage 3 of bucket time, we take turns to complete a simple activity. Some of our bucket time activities have included: catching bubbles, fishing magnetic fish and waving a flag for St George’s Day. We’re able to practise waiting, listening for our name, watching others take their turns, following instructions and stopping when our turn has finished.
