Scarecrows

This week we had a story about a scarecrow who didn’t scare the animals off his field. It is a lovely story and there are lots of animals in it which fit nicely into our Animal topic this term too.

We loved exploring the scarecrow and finding his hat, nose, hands and boots.

Listen to the story and for those of you learning at home, try to make one too.

Here is one of our scarecrows for you to copy. Isn’t he fantastic? He was made with collage and glue and then we used stick pins so that his arms and legs can move.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

Another Busy Week in Owl Class

We have all had a fantastic week. We have been celebrating Harvest time by exploring fruit and tasting puréed pears. It tasted lovely. Then we painted and collaged a fruit basket, we hope you like it!

We also had a lovely swim for the first time in ages . The water was so warm and we loved playing with the beach balls.

Welcome back!

We hope you all had a fabulous Summer Holiday.

It was lovely to see you all this week. We have had lots of fun making new friends and exploring our new classroom. Here are a few of the activities we have been doing his week.

Take a look at our lovely new classroom too.
