Number Day is an opportunity to do something different together involving different areas of maths. Normally we work in maths groups so today it was lovely to be able to do activities together as a class and help one another. The theme in Willows was ‘measurement’. We used non standard units of measure to measure the length and height of different objects around our classroom. We also solved problems by comparing measurements practically.
