For our community visit this week we visited Grasmere Garden Centre to buy some plants for our secondary area at school. We looked around at all of the different plants and throughout about the ones that we like. We also had to consider the price as we had a class budget. Once we had selected plants we took them to the cashier and paid for our items.
Then, when we are back at school, we went to the secondary area plant pots to plant them. First we got rid of the weeds that had built up over the winter, cleared the soil and put our flowers in. Then we gave them a good water so that they would establish over the next few weeks.
