Wow! What an amazing day we had at the Black Country Living Museum! When we got to the museum we were greeted by a lady called Tina, dressed in period clothing to match the era of the buildings at the museum. She gave us a short history about the area we call the Black Country and then let us explore the museum. Our topic this term has been about βhomes and housesβ so this was the focus of our trip there. We looked at different home from the past and compared them to what our homes are like today.

The homes we went in to were dressed in traditional Christmas decorations which was lovely to see. We were slightly horrified to find out that toilets in the past were outside in the garden(and then relieved to discover that there are proper indoor toilets for us to use!)
