Apologies for the delay in uploading to the blog! We have been completely snowed under – literally on some days!!
We had some lovely Remembrance Day celebrations; the children really enjoyed exploring the parade drumming during our music session.
We had a wonderful Diversity session exploring The Caribbean! The children enjoyed playing the steel drums and trying some exotic fruit – pineapple, coconut, and plantain chips to name just a few.

We had a Children in Need inspired Dough Disco session with bright yellow Pudsey playdough and practising our fine motor skills by pushing rainbow coloured lollipop sticks into the Pudsey dough!

When the snow came in we made sure to take full advantage of the weather! The children wrapped up warm and went outside to enjoy the snow!

When it came to celebrating British culture during our Diversity lessons, there was no better way of doing it than with a very English Tea Party! The children enjoyed trying Scones with jam, cheese and crackers, crumpets and a nice cup of tea!

When the storyteller came to see us the children chose to hear the ‘Fun Fair’ story! The children really enjoyed exploring all the sensory props available, including the ‘Hook a Duck’ game and the carnival music.

We then moved all the way to Africa for our next Diversity session! The children explored flavours from lots of different countries within Africa; couscous, pomegranate seeds, mango, melon and dates.
