Spring Into Action Sponsored Event

As the weather has warmed up, we have been busy enjoying the outdoors and ‘springing into action’ for our sponsored event with the help of the Friends of Oakwood.

We had a sensory obstacle course around the playground.

Congratulations to the winner of the first prize!

Despite the poor turnout the P.S.A. (Friends of Oakwood) raised £170.30 from the raffle and refreshments at their coffee morning today. A huge thanks to everyone who came, helped, donated prizes and supported them.

Well done to Sarah’s group for being the class with the highest percentage attendance for last week. This is the 4th time they have won this year so keep up the good work 🙂

Congratulations to all the winners of the Mother’s Day raffle! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, we raised an amazing £191 for the P.S.A (Friends of Oakwood).

Well done to Ruth’s group for being the class with the highest number of pupils with 100% attendance for last week! Ted will accompany the group on all of their adventures this week. Have fun, Ted:)

Our attendance for last week was 93.5% and is 89.4% for the year so far.

On Thursday we had a day of the Three Little Pigs.

The children told the story and bounced on the bouncy house

All classes have had a bag of cookery ingredients this week and the children have been making tasty treats linked to our stories.

Owl Babies nests, Jack and the Beanstalk cakes and jam sandwiches as well as our pancakes from Tuesday.

So tasty!
