There was lots of fun on Thursday 6th March as we celebrating World Book Day. This is an annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading. There were costumes, games, activities and lots of fun was had by all. Take a look at the photos below and on our class blogs for more information:
The school hall was set up for a disco with a giant tunnel to encourage movement! Everyone had an amazing time engaging with the different sensory elements which encourage movement and interaction. Take a look at our class blogs for more photos and videos.
It has been amazing to see all of the colourful clothing, party wear, and all sorts of costumes ready to boogie in! As part of the National Day of dance, we have been dancing to Disco, Sensology Disco and also joining in with some Line Dancing!
What is the National Day of Dance?
Let’s Dance is a national campaign to inspire everyone to embrace dance as a way to improve their health, connect with others, and have fun. Founded by Angela Rippon CBE, the campaign is supported by leading organisations including the Sport and Recreation Alliance, NHS, and Parkinson’s UK.
Our mission is to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. Take a look at their website for more information and to see how you can dance at home. Go to https://lets-dance.org.uk/
Let’s see some of the fun we have been having…
