We were so pleased to see the return of Attemdance Ted after the Easter holidays and we could not wait to hear the winner of the highest attendance was of the week.We are really proud to announce our winners this week are……. Squirrels at the Satellite and Dragonflies at the Main Site.
Well done to all our friends, we have all had such a super week at school.
As detailed in the latest newsletter, our new expansion project will begin soon at the Pelsall Lane site (the former EDC).
Phase 4 will include a new office and reception area, Meeting rooms, staff room, PPA room, a hall, a specialist cooking room, art room, sensory room, 9 new classrooms and outdoor spaces.

This week our attendance winners are Rabbits at the Main Site. and Hedgehogs at the Satellite. Attendance Ted will celebrate each class having the highest attendance by spending the week with them taking part in all their exciting activities and sessions. I wonder what fun Attendance Ted will have?

A special well done goes to Kingfishers at the Satellite and Bumblebees at the Main Site this week for having the highest attendance. Our Attendance Ted’s have already made their way to their classrooms to begin an exciting week of learning and fun.
All the children were also really excited to collect their certificates during our Suoerstar Assembly.
This week at school we would like to congratulate our friends in Foxes at the Main Site and Woodpeckers at the Satellite for having 100% attendance during this week at school.
I wonder what adventures Attendance Ted will get up to in these classes next week, we cannot wait to hear all about it.

Our Oakwood Makaton Choir have been busy learning the signs and words to one of our favourite Christmas songs. We really wanted to share all their hard work through creating our own Oakwood Christmas Video. Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased raffle tickets. We raised an amazing £318.00 for our lovey children! A big thank you to Tom, our Pupil Leader, for helping with the draw.
On Friday a small group of pupils from Oakwood went to Sneyd and took part in a Boccia competition against other SEN school settings across Walsall. This allowed our pupils to demonstrate their fantastic target skills and competitive skills. We are very proud to announce that the team came 4th in the competition and they even had chance to make some new friends during the day.
